We are looking for a Robotics Trainee to join our engineering team in Tampere.

As a Robotics Trainee, you will support the development, design and implementation of Fastems’ robotic solutions as part of ongoing customer projects and product development. You will work closely with experienced robotics and automation professionals and gain hands-on experience in industrial robotics within an international project environment.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of how robotic systems are designed, programmed and integrated into intelligent manufacturing solutions.

In this position you can be in the early stages of your studies, for example in your 2nd or 3rd year. The position requires good communication and teamwork skills, and a genuine interest in automation and robotics. Fluent English is required. Finnish skills are considered an advantage.

As part of the robotics engineering team, you will gradually take part in practical development and commissioning-related tasks and learn how robotic solutions are implemented in real industrial environments. Therefore, we value:

  • Studies in automation technology or a related field

  • Basic understanding of industrial robotics and automation concepts gained through studies or project work

  • Familiarity with robot programming, simulations or robot kinematics (for example through university courses or personal projects)

  • Interest in developing reliable, safe and efficient robotic solutions together with multidisciplinary teams

  • Additionally, hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical assembly is considered a strong advantage

  • As a person, you are self-driven, systematic and motivated to learn new technologies.
